PPC Solar believes in giving back to the communities that support us. Below, check out our Photovoltaic Donation Program, which has “solarized” several non-profits in New Mexico, and learn more about our participation in school and community outreach events.

PPC Solar participates in many community events, to give back and connect with our local community. We loved participating in the annual Taos “Invent Event”, providing set-up support, organizational assistance, and volunteering time for the community event which 500+ area youth have attended to explore a range of STEM related activities.
Additionally, have provided non-profits the use of our solar powered trailer for community events, used by Amigos Bravos for their annual Rally for the Rio in Pilar, NM and LEAP NeoRio’s harvest feast at the Rio Grande National Monument Wild Rivers in Questa, NM.

PPC Solar team members have taught solar workshops at a range of local schools, hosted solar education seminars for the community, and we’re involved in providing curriculum guidance for the UNM Taos Adult Education “Intro to Renewable Energy” course; providing class content for 3 of the classes (Tools of the Trade, “Day in the Life” of a solar installer & Solar Industry Careers).
