Paradise Power Company was founded in 1979 by Michael Weinman out of the need for solar technology to sustain the off-grid lifestyle prevalent in northern New Mexico. In 1993 the company was passed down to his son, Daniel Weinman, and his dedication has expanded the business to encompass all sectors of photovoltaic installation, as well as the distribution and installation of electric vehicle charging stations across the region.

PPC continues to be family owned and locally operated, remaining headquartered in Taos, with a fully staffed office and warehouse in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The company’s experience managing complex, multi-site, private, and public-sector projects allows PPC to deliver sustainable infrastructure that supports modernization, clean energy initiatives, and long-term operational efficiency.

Since founding, PPC has installed over 30 MW of photovoltaics, and 200+ EV charging stations across New Mexico and Colorado. With over 45 years of local presence, PPC has built strong relationships with inspectors, utilities, and vendors for unsurpassed value. We stand behind our workmanship and the products we install, providing 10 and 25 year warranties.
