What to Expect


PRE-INSTALLATION (after contract signing & deposits are received)

6 - 12 weeks (depending on equipment lead times & permitting plan review)

  • PPC Solar designs/creates electrical drawings & a site plan for the project

  • PPC Solar procures the necessary equipment for the project

  • PPC Solar completes/submits the utility application, with the fee & other necessary documents

  • PPC Solar submits plan sets and secures appropriate permits & HOA approvals

DURING INSTALLATION

1 - 2 weeks (depending on array size & type)

  • Once the pre-install items have been addressed PPC Solar will reach out to you regarding the install date

  • Our install crew lead will coordinate directly with you regarding home access & any logistics that may arise

  • Schedule will vary depending on weather/other issues that may surface (i.e. delivery times, coordination, etc.)

POST-INSTALLATION

1 - 4 weeks (depending on inspector & utility company)

  • PPC Solar will request the appropriate inspections

  • Inspector will inspect & send Pass Inspection Notice to utility company

  • Utility Company will inspect and then schedule/install a REC meter in the empty meter socket

  • PPC Solar will turn on the solar electric array & finalize the online portion of the system monitoring

  • PPC Solar will do a walk-through providing you with manuals & warranties, and then collect final payment
