PPC Solar's Safety Program is an employee empowered program. All employees are responsible for safety and are empowered to halt work if they see a safety issue. The company has adopted the following practices regarding safety.
• Accident and Near Miss summaries to Directors on a monthly basis
• Weekly Site Safety Meetings for Project Managers
• Daily Job Safety Meeting for Crew
• Bi-Monthly Craft "Toolbox" Safety Meetings including topics such as: Personal Protective Equipment, Ladder Safety, Housekeeping, Battery Safety, etc.
• Forklift Certification
• OSHA 10 hour and OSHA 30 hour trained employees
Quality Assurance Program
Continual Improvement:
PPC Solar strives to conduct ongoing performance reviews comparing required performance levels to actual performance levels. A remediation plan is developed based on the cause of a performance gap.
Process:
Problems are investigated and cheat sheets or flow charts are developed to prevent problems from recurring. Process users are involved in the creation of problem resolution.
Customer Focus:
Customer inquiries, concerns, requests are addressed within the business day. Project updates are communicated daily to customers. Customers are presented with a satisfaction survey at the completion of a project.
Product Quality:
Quality inspection conducted of all products received into warehouse and reinspected on site before delivery to customer. Daily internal audits and reviews of projects in progress are completed. Quality inspection of job through system tests and customer satisfaction response.
