Our Story
Our story of solar installation begins nearly four decades ago, as Paradise Power Company, in 1979. Michael Weinman, an electrical engineer in Taos, New Mexico began using solar for off-grid sustainable living for his family. He went on to install a solar electric system for K-TAOS, a radio station in Taos, and began working with Earthship Biotecture to create off-grid systems for the Taos Earthship Community. Years later, this company is now in the hands of Daniel Weinman, Michael's son. As technology has progressed, so has Daniel's vision for Paradise Power, thus PPC (Paradise Power Company) Solar was born. Believing in the technology, we continue to provide high quality photovoltaic systems for both residential, commercial, and utility clients. We are a unique company in the solar industry, we have been in business for over 31 years and are a family owned company since inception. We love our community, and will continue to provide top-notch service to our local clients, as well as expand to assist other communities use renewable energy.
