Daniel Weinman
President and CEO
Daniel has over thirty years of experience of living with, designing and installing solar electric systems. From growing up with solar electricity to taking over the company started by his father, Daniel has earned a position at the forefront of the solar industry. He started with design and installation of residential off-grid systems and moved into residential and commercial grid-tie systems bringing him to the top as a large scale installer. Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge, customer relations skills and job management skills to make PPC Solar the premier solar electric installation company in the Southwest. Since taking over the company in 1990, he has led the company through twenty years of sustained consecutive growth. Daniel holds electrical contracting licenses in New Mexico and Colorado and is a North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners Certified Solar PV Installer™. He has also been instrumental in educating the local community and authorities in solar energy.
Jonathon Richard Pettit
Director of Operations
Richard has extensive experience in the renewable energy industry. He was the CEO of HydroTech Contracting for twelve years, specializing in solar, natural gas, and radiant heating. He has been involved in the industry since 1982, as a master plumber and computer specialist in the Southwest. Richard has researched, developed, and engineered a unique technical biomass heating apparatus, and has innovated solar radiant heating. As Chief Operations Officer, Richard leads a team of qualified professionals to work with photovoltaic system integration and oversees all PPC Solar's projects and ventures.
Adam S. Baker
Director of Development
Adam is a New Mexico attorney with 14 years of experience litigating a wide variety of cases in state and federal courts. Before joining PPC Solar, Adam was the County Attorney and then County Manager for Taos County, New Mexico, where he oversaw construction of the County's $47 million administrative, judicial and detention complex. As Director of Development, Adam seeks to help create new markets and opportunities for large residential, commercial and governmental customers by structuring creative financial models such as third party power purchase agreements, while ensuring PPC Solar's corporate compliance with federal, state and local laws in light of its globally responsible business plan.
Marti MacDonald
Director of Administration
Marti has over ten years of professional administrative / management experience, with seven of them in the banking industry. She was the co-owner and Director of a fine art gallery for three years before joining PPC Solar. Marti is responsible for the financial and personnel operations of PPC Solar. Marti also manages the planning, coordination and execution of policies and programs and completion of special projects.
Larissa Weinman
Director of Public Relations & Social Media
As Director of Public Relations & Social Media, Larissa manages the marketing, media, advertising, branding, and social media aspects of the organization. She oversees all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities, including marketing research and analysis. As Social Media Manager, Larissa implements PPCSolar's Social Media Strategy, developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and encouraging product adoption. This role coordinates with the internal Operation and Administrative teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a social media referral network.
Bob Kenan
Director of Technical Sales
Bob has been involved in the solar and renewable energy business for 30 years. He has degrees in Solar Energy Technology (A.S.) and Industrial Technology (B.S.) In 1980, after getting the Solar Energy degree, he started his own business manufacturing solar collectors and installing solar hot water systems. In 1988, after getting the Industrial Technology degree, he moved to Albuquerque and began working with two solar electric companies as sales director. He is a recent graduate from Solar Energy Internationals solar business and technical sales courses. His passion for solar energy technology brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to our company.
